The Reverend John Walsted’s (1932-2014) reputation as an iconographer was international, and his work is included in private collections and churches across the country.  Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles, Saint George’s Church in Nashville, Tennessee, Saint Thomas Choir School Chapel, and St. Luke’s in the Field in Manhattan are among the places where his work is part of the Church’s decor and ritual.  His work is in the collections of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Vatican, and the Patriarchate of Moscow, and he has received commissions from European collectors.  Reverend Walsted’s work is also held by many churches on Staten Island.
