Business & Industry on Staten Island - Part 2. An array of products were made on the island by such concerns as the American Linoleum Company, J.B. King, United States Gypsum, Jewett White Lead, Dean Linseed Oil Company, Ostwald's Uniforms, Unexcelled Fireworks, the DeJonge Paper Company and others. What was made? Who made it and where it was made will all be covered.
Presentations will include a PowerPoint, lecture, video clips, question and answer periods, sources for future research by participants, handouts, and guest speakers.
