Sarah Yuster is a painter known for her urban landscapes and portraits.  Her work is in the collection of the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, the National Air & Space Museum, Harvard University, Yale University, the Bangkok Royal Family Compound, and the New York Armory Track.  She has been commisioned by the Wall Street Journal, the NYS Legislature, City University of New York, and the NYC Department of Education.  Native Soil, Yuster’s recent retrospective, was installed at the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art for six months in 2018; a book of the same name was published simultaneously.  Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of American Art, the National Academy of Design,  Biggs Museum of American Art, and New York City galleries.  It also hangs in institutions and corporate headquarters throughout the metropolitan area, as well as in the UK, Continental Europe, Japan, and Thailand.
