Cooking the Books: Writing Course, Week 2

Writer and educator Robin Lampman is teaching a six-week course on the reading and writing of food literature. As Alice B. Toklas said in her now famous cookbook, we will engage in "the passionate reading of elaborate recipes in very large cookbooks."  The objective of the class is to compile a collection of essays and poems about food, including recipes and the delicious stories behind them.
