Marc “Buz 163” Brown grew up in the Bronx and studied illustration at the High School of Art and Design in New York City. He received the BFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology and studies printmaking at the Art Students League of New York with William Behnken. Brown's favorite medias include watercolor, etchings, pen and ink, and collage. He draws inspiration from his commutes to and from work in the New York City Transit System making pen and ink studies of his fellow passengers which he posts on his blog: www.transitlines.wordpress.com. He has exhibited his work in group shows at the Art Director's Club and the Salmagundi Club where he won an Honorable Mention in 2008. Since 2008 Brown has been a Civil Service Graphic Artist for the City of New York Human Resources Administration.
