Bo Kass creates her photographs in her darkroom and uses classical silver gelatin techniques. She hand brushes each print so that each is unique and one of a kind. Her work is included in the collections of the Connecticut Historical Society, Tyco International, Baruch College, City University of New York, and Slater Mill Historic Site. She has participated in juried exhibitions at, among other institutions, Perkins Center for the Arts, Monmouth Festival of the Arts, Silvermine Guild Arts Center, the Pen and Brush, Inc., the Salmagundi Club, Fraunces Tavern and the Zeeuws Maritiem Muzeeum, Netherlands. Kass has received several awards for her photography, including first prize in the 2011 Special President’s Exhibition for Photography and Graphics and the Sylvia M. Glesmann Floral Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club. It is featured in 100 New York Photographers by Cynthia Dantzie. She is represented by the Old Print Shop, Manhattan.
